Further my skills

Recipes?

No cookbook (although (self-)education is probably useful if you want to become a good cook). This is a series of books related to the 3rd generation programming language C++. Left and right of the series are books about PHP and HTML. And of course on other shelves I have other books that also helped to make me smarter.
For those of you with no knowledge about programming, there are 5 generations of programming languages. Gen. 1 is pretty basic, machine readable but hard to read and learn by humans. The 2nd gen is still rather basic, but a bit easier to understand. I joined IT to learn this. Focus on coding, not solutions. The next 3 generations developed away from coding oriented to solution oriented. So here you started to get apps that are colourful, with a lot of whizzles and bells, but not necessarily doing what you expect them to do. And where exceptional behaviour of the user (you!) is not anticipated but will let the app behave weird or just stop working.
