I'd planned to go to the bouldering wall on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, but had forgotten that the Unit doesn't open until 12 noon on Wednesdays, and I'd got to be at the charity shop by 1 o'clock.... bother! 

I went for a walk while it was dry and then turned the laptop on, intending to start typing up the minutes from last night's meeting. I got distracted by finding a voice file of one of my brothers interviewing our mother, asking her about aspects of her life, our lives, our dad etc. It's a while since I'd last played the recording, so I enjoyed it. 

I walked to the charity shop. Throughout the afternoon there were some very heavy downpours accompanied by thunder and lightning, and a lot of steady rain. I worried about my trays of cabbage seedlings, the rain was so heavy at times that I imagined they'd be completely flattened. But they were okay when I got home, hurrah!
