Despite the dire weather today, there were a couple of intrepid Bees collecting pollen from the Scabious flowers during a lull in the wind..     
We had 1cm of rain overnight and just 5mm during the day.    I don't think the wind has been as strong as they predicted, thankfully, but still strong enough to dislodge one of the bird boxes from the Walnut tree, thank goodness it has long been vacated.
