Scarborough Day 3

Another sunny day. We met up with Mr D’s Sister and BIL We went to lunch in Scalby, then after lunch we drove around the area while Mr D reminisced. Having had such dreadful fish and chips last night, today we decided to try again. We faffed around so much that the shop had closed before we got there. Fortunately they were clearing up and very kindly offered us some haddock goujons that had not sold. We tried to pay and they very kindly declined saying they would’ve thrown them away anyway. We thanked them profusely and took the food back to our ‘home’ to eat. It was delicious. Sometimes you meet such kind people. Today’s blip is a close up of Scarborough Castle.
