The London Archive

The photo society met this evening at the London Archive. It's an amazing place that I'm not sure I had heard of. Documents going back centuries for the whole of London are stored in a rabbit warren of rooms. 

Simeon, the director, took us on a tour and we were soon disorientated from going up and down staircases and through a range of spaces. From the reading room to the restoration room and even the loading bay.
