Sydney City Farm

Sydney City Farm, located in nearby Sydney Park, is an urban agricultural project connecting the city to regional areas and their industries. The purpose of the farm is primarily educational. It is a place to learn about sustainable farming, seasonal produce, water minimisation, organic growing principles and plantings used in Aboriginal cultural practices. School groups, tertiary education students and community groups access the farm's programs, conducted by industry experts. 

Want as I might, the likes of me can't take the produce. Any surplus goes to agencies like Oz Harvest which distribute food to people who need it.

My main is of what's growing in one of the raised beds. My extras are of: the Aboriginal selection; and a wide shot giving some perspective of the farm's reach.
