Waiting and watching

I can't stand a hard bed and this one had the added 'advantage' of exacerbating the issues in my left leg. I'm not starting the physio exercises till I'm home. I softened the bed with duvet and throw and took the drugs and eventually by 5 I dropped off. Should have got up to check the Northern Lights!

After breakfast I sat for a bit catching up on the laptop. I was going to go for a swim but it was such a lovely day I just headed for the Black Isle. Unfortunately, Cromarty was closed, including Hugh Miller's Cottage. The first week of the autumn timetable. Wandered around, sat and watched the sea, wandered around, bought a sandwich (and strawberry tart), sat and watched the sea and ate them. It was mild and the sun warm and I could see a woman in swimming.

Drove round to Chanonry Point and snoozed in the car, which was hot in the sun. Then spent 2 hours 15 mins with the crowds at the Point waiting for dolphins. That was the time after low tide that they appeared yesterday. I saw a fun, twice.

Gave up after 5 and headed back to Dingwall via Tesco for petrol. I've never been in such an empty Tesco, weird.

After a cup of coffee I went to the Turkish restaurant, now having cash, though the sign had gone. I was the only diner. Food was good but pricey but you could BYOB, which I had.

Finished Olga's 3rd opus and then softened the bed. My leg was so sore at times today I could hardly walk. Must get going on the exercises.
