Apples

Another gift of fruit, this time from a neighbour who dropped them off for us at the weekend. 

This morning I showed my blip of plums she provided on Sunday. "Oh, it's just like a still life!"  Good, that was the intention.

Today a couple of bookings came in for the lodge, one for next July and one for a year next December - Christmas 2026! I panicked when I saw that - we have visitors who like to come at Christmas and once someone pinched their booking for the following year before they had even left.

Anyhow, I checked the name and it was the regulars, just making sure next year was secure as well as this year. I only hope they approve of the cooking facilities in the new kitchen!
