Old Haunts

A last minute decision to visit an old haunt yielded unexpected results. I have photographed the lichen on these rocks before and, having rediscovered them, I decided the rock shapes made a wonderful foreground.

The estuary otherwise is a bit messy and wide open and is hard to make sense of. I would have liked to photograph the shore birds, but didn't have a long lens with me.
