Bad timing

I have been waiting for this book to be released and pre-ordered my copy in February so I am pleased to have it but it’s bad timing on the first day of a new academic year. I’m sure it’ll still get read. All 908 pages of it.

Today went well. The right tone set, I think. My training was well-received with time to think and discuss. It was lovely to see lots of people and the frustrations with others were contained. I’m not delivering anything in Day Two so can focus my thinking on the students returning on Thursday.
