I found this photo on my instagram from 2013, I don’t know which phone I took it on, but you can see how much scaffolding was needed for that section of the castle that goes over the moat when the stone work needed repairs. 

Today, i think I heard the nicest thing I’ve heard in my whole time as Education Manager. DB (new boss) who is very learned and has come from great big roles in the heritage education sector told me that I am the best EM she has ever met and that other venues would ‘kill to have me’. Cried a lot of the way home and really really wished I could have told B that! It meant the world coming from someone who really knows the education sector. 
Enough of blowing my own trumpet, I started watching First Lady tonight on a recommendation, as totally missed it in 2022 and loving it. What an insight into those ladies!
