Yorkshire holiday Day 1

We set off for Yorkshire today to visit Mr D’s family and visit the newly restored gravestone. Mr D wanted to visit the Naval Battle that takes place in Peasholm Park during the summer school vacation, and today was the last time it will take place this year. We got there with 30 minutes to spare and met up with Mr D’s niece and BIL. It was an interesting display. The ships are controlled by young lads lying inside the models and fireworks were used to recreate gunfire. We all cheered the British ships, and booed the enemy.
After that we checked into our accommodation and then went out for dinner with Mr D’s family.
