' I Will Survive' (Gloria Gaynor)

" Horse chestnut leaf-mining moth has spread rapidly since it was first identified as present in Britain from Wimbledon in 2002. The effect on the appearance of horse chestnut trees in late summer can be profound."

RHS Website

This afternoon's walk took me along Talton Lane at some point. Such a shame to see the horse chestnut trees, which had looked so magnificent in May, looking so sorry for themselves. At least the 'conkers' aren't affected.

Nothing else of note to mention. Light rain this evening. Nights now drawing in. Autumn coming. That's about it. Tomorrow's another day.

Jayne at work today and keep fit this evening.
