Writing

As part of my Caregiving project, funded through an Arts Council national lottery project grant, I included a creative writing workshop as well as photography workshops. The in person session was today, led by poet Pauline Rowe who I know through Open Eye Gallery.

This was my first exercise - a free writing of simple sentences describing things that you did and noticed before the workshop this morning.

It was a great session, including looking at a couple of poems and starting to write our own. I think everyone found it pretty emotional.
