You can't keep a good cabbage down

I know this isn't a flower but I'm going to tag it for Tiny Tuesday anyway.

We have our fridge/freezer from the old house out in the garage; a 'beer fridge' if you will, but good for extra capacity (and incidentally, was already about ten years old when we brought it here. We've had two fridge freezers indoors since we moved in; so much for modern quality).  Several weeks ago we used half a red cabbage and wrapped the rest in clingfilm to put in the beer fridge.  And promptly forgot about it.

I rediscovered it today.  It clearly seems to be trying to make a new life for itself!
