Bexhill-on-sea

We spotted this statue near the promenade of Bexhill, a neighbouring town of Eastbourne, where we visited friends earlier today.

"Presented on the lawn of the De La Warr Pavilion and facing outwards to the ocean, Seated will evoke the acts of resting, reflection and leisure that are part of DLWP’s coastal context."

At the Eastbourne train station and while we were waiting for the train to Collington (near Bexhill), the seagull in the extra didn't leave our side. Before the train arrived, the train conductor waiting on the platform enquired the name of the seagull and if I had a ticket for the gull. I named the seagull 'Fluffy'.
