Looks Electric!
The light can often be quite strange, even a bit other-worldly, after a shower of rain. This was Merope Rocks this morning as the rain cleared across Mother Ivey's Bay in North Cornwall and the sun began to break through the low cloud again. The yellow colour is the lichen which grows abundantly on this side of the rocks. The sea here is usually calm as it is sheltered from the prevailing south-westerly winds by Trevose Head. This sheltered spot was chosen as the new site for the Padstow lifeboat which can be safely launched here in most weathers.
