This Isn't Happening!

For the moment my father-in-law's dog is staying with us. She's beautiful, but a nervous wreck and even though she's at least twice the height of our dog she is very much low dog on the totem pole. For example Lady has taken over Trudy's bed and Trudy ends up sleeping in a bed that's much too small for her.

It turns out that Trudy is more scared of the hoover than Lady and ran for the security of her bed, despite Lady's prior occupancy. Lady was mortified at the failure of her authority and the break down in the social order. She just didn't know where to look.
