No 23

Another square for my book blanket is done. This was a very short novella from my advent book stash from last year and was super quick and a bit of a depressing read.

In cheerier news it was the end of the UNO gaming month and I staged a comeback to emerge as the August winner- no mean feat after winning all of one game in the first week. Ian came last so now we have both the winner and the loser trophy at home.

We went out for lunch and in a nice surprise the roast was really tasty. We have had such disappointing ones lately that I have been trying anything else on the menu.
