Fiendish Orienteering
I was asked if I would take photos at this weekend's British Sprint Champs so I decided against competing. The University of East Anglia is great architecture and its many levels, stairwells, walkways and tunnels made it a real orienteering challenge for many competitors.
I could only fit a slice of the many sections of the campus which sprawl across the wide open sward of grass down to the lake in my viewfinder and it's worth googling to see the full effect. Don't be fooled by all the concrete. There are great green spaces in there as well as quiet areas to enjoy installations, and fabulous trees.
If you look closely you will see a competitor just rounding the corner heading for his next control. Later, I had a bird's eye view of the action from the stairwell you can see centrally.
Much better on black and in large.
