Vintage soft friends

Found these in one of many of my late mother's boxed photos and correspondence. I don't recall ever seeing them as a child. They were well loved. Some of the facial features appear to have been repaired by hand embroidery. I can picture my grandmother doing that, she was a gifted seamstress. I smooshed them together as the middle one can no longer stand without support. His under carriage remains lavender, untouched by discoloration.
