It stopped raining

We actually had a dry day and I managed to mow the lawn. The sunflowers made a full appearance as well 
Otherwise, we went to see my mother-in-law.  With us going on our holiday,  we wanted to catch up with her before our departure. 
I then packed my case before preparing dinner.  The boys and Caroline came round for a meal, which was lovely.  A really nice evening.
