Camperdown House

Built in 1828 for the 1st Earl of Camperdown who was the son of Admiral Adam Duncan who defeated the French at the Battle of Camperdown in 1797. Now " moth-balled" as a profitable use hasn't been found by the owners, Dundee City Council, even the Golf club that used part of it closed due to lack of profitability.
As you can probably tell the running group passed it this evening.
I put out some washing in the hope it might get reasonably dry and was delighted the rain held off and the bedding was able to be put back on the bed. Our visitor left mid-day so that's another load of washing with bedding and towels for whenever I can get it done.
Much of the rest of the day was spent on admin. First some minutes, partly done previously but which hadn't saved so had to be started again, then the church accounts.
I took over as Treasurer in the middle of the month and so this was the first end-of-month report. The previous Treasurer was very organised and handed everything over, so it wasn't too hard once I got into it.
