Rainbow

A rather bitty day today, doing this and that while outside the weather alternated between heavy showers and sunshine.

With each shower I popped out to look for rainbows, being otherwise devoid of a blip, but there was none. In desperation I photographed Mr Flum tidying the front garden, but when I saw that he'd cut off berry-bearing stems of the holly I left him, in a huff.... .

After half an hour or so another shower came over and this time presented us with a super rainbow, with strong colour, some supernumerary banding (inside) and a faint double (outside).

Standing barefoot on the garden bench in the rain waving a phone about is not the safest activity for a woman of a certain age so I kept my photography short and came in.
