Rainy Days and Mondays

I optimistically put the washing out this morning. I think it got rained on 6 times. It’s now in the tumble dryer.
Poppy and I went to Saffron Walden as she needed to go shopping. I had a hot chocolate in the Marimba chocolate cafe. It was amazing!
I thought I was off until Thursday but I’ve been asked to take on a new student starting tomorrow. I’ve hastily packed my school bag and dug out some work clothes to wear. The summer’s definitely over now.
