No head for heights

I’m glad I don’t have to climb into this thing! It’s called a boom lift, I believe, and it's parked up at church. I saw it when I went to take all my stock up to the Atrium.

It was used for some recent maintenance work – pigeons had apparently managed to get in to the belfry, but couldn’t then get out, and were dying. The dead pigeons have now been removed and their access holes have been blocked up. Fortuitously, a hole in the roof was also discovered while the workmen were up there, so that’s been repaired as well.

The roof in the background belongs to the Vicarage, by the way.
