A couple of Hops are growing through the conifers again this year.  I might try to dry them for autumn/winter decoration.    I think it's quite amazing that such a delicate 'fruit' is one of the main ingredients in the making of beer.


It's been blowing a hoolie for most of the day and we've had 2mm of rain too.   There's 44 mph winds forecast for Wednesday which I am not looking forward too especially with the trees in full leaf.
