Change of Plan

We had been told that Lisa's adopters were going on holiday next week, so they'd asked if I could keep her until they returned. I was delighted!

They then asked of they could bring their dachshund, Freddie, to meet Lisa today, to make sure he liked her they liked each other. Of course, everyone fell for Lisa straight away, and the adopters asked if they could take Lisa, there and then.

I was not happy,! I was looking forward to having Lisa for another couple of weeks, but of course it made sense, as the couple had driven up from the Borders, and they'd checked that their house-sitter was perfectly happy to have an extra pup to look after when they went on holiday.

This is the very fluffy Freddie, Lisa's new buddy. I hope they'll be very happy together.
