It may be the first day of meteorological autumn in the northern hemisphere but l like to cling on to the idea that it is still summer so l will consider it isn’t yet autumn until the next equinox later in September.

Zumba this morning and fifteen years since my instructor started teaching, l am the only one of her class that day to be still zumbaring ( is that a word?).
Went for a coffee afterwards, lots to catch up on after the long break. Had a shock to hear that the husband of one of my friends had recently had his leg amputated: at the knee. A new procedure as operations until recently were to amputate above or below the knee. Good to hear both she and her husband are feeling very positive about the future.
Had some parcels to post for Vinted , a celebration cake tin that l only used once and because on Saturday l bought a new jacket l put an old up for sale this morning and it sold in minutes.
On my way to the post office l pass a lovely cottage that has a fabulous garden . The owners sell produce in small punnets on a little table at the front. Everything is 50p. l bought these tomatoes , five different varieties and a small bunch of flowers. put the money in the honesty box the contents go to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
