Mono Monday Rose

An early start for me, well earlier than normal, as I was driving 19miles to my Dentist for my annual check up. The weather was abysmal, so left an hour before my appointment time as the road there is not good. Hardly left home when the rain started, by the time I was on the 377 it was hammering down, and the run off from the lanes on to the main road was evil!! On a normal run it takes around a half hour, so I was very pleased it took me 40 mins in poor driving  conditions.

Saw the hygienist first who gave my teeth a good clean and polish, before going to see my dentist, who had to replace a small filling that had got lost forever after I had chewed on a polo mint and broken and swallowed it !! So was given a wee lecture about teeth care, and sent on my way to see her again in March.  It is so well worth the distance I have to go as she has been looking after my teeth for about 40 years and still N.H.

I needed to fuel up the car, and also had a S'bury's voucher for extra Nectar points, but so annoying when I got back to Barnstaple, the petrol station forecourt side for the pump I wanted was cordoned off so will have to wait until it reopens.
