A family day out, like when the kids were smaller (and with a similar amount of wingeing by some!) by going to the traditional Bank Holiday Swallowfield Show.
Classically english with dog show, ferret racing, pony rides, ice-cream and candy floss, people selling jams and pickles plus some fairly low calibre entertainments in the arena.
I have always loved the old fashioned fair ground rides, and find the gallopers very attractive as well as big childhood nostalgia trip.
