Pudding
The orchard and veg crop have all been difficult this year. The Newtons Wonder that was blown over a couple of summers ago appeared to be solid again. I removed the strapping and extra stake earlier in the year and the winds have again sent it over again. Apples had set well but despite our location adjacent to the beck few filled out. Lots of small tomatoes ( the polly tunnel has been too hot) being roasted and then blitzed to be saved as sauce. Marrows and beans also needing constant picking and freezing.
Above one go the larger Grenadier apples, baked stuffed with oats and raisins. Very tasty.
