Addition to the family...

We picked up this little fellow about lunch time today from the Cats Protection League shelter near us. He was one of three siblings who were left there a few weeks ago. We think he's about 5 months old, but very small for his age. He is not very trusting at the moment but in the several hours we've had him he has found out where he sleeps, where his litter tray is and most importantly - where the food is put!
Fred, then Alex got him chasing a piece of string all around for quite a while - he wasn't familiar with this game at all. He's really not keen on being picked up but he sat and studied me for quite a while as I was doing the laundry. he really stared at the washing machine when it was on!
The jury is out on a name still... I favour Oggie (the moggie), Alex likes Moriarty or Mycroft (Myki for short) Fred quite likes Pyewacket (a famous witch's familiar from the 17th century witch trials - because he's all black like a witches cat!)
