Passing the Torch

The top photo shows some writing prompts I used while teaching. My colleague and friend Kerrie designed the cards. The explanation for them is too long for here, but today I passed them along to granddaughter Elle to use in her English teaching, which officially kicks off this week. This makes me very happy, that the prompts I used can help inspire another generation of kids through Elle’s classes. How cool is that?

After we delivered these and some home grown fruit and veggies, we treated them to excellent Thai food in Independence. I chose my heat level on my garlic prawns as 4 out of 5, which was fairly mild, until I hit the bottom layer. A couple of hours later, my mouth is somewhat back to room temperature. A good afternoon.
