The clouded yellow fest continues....

I went to my favourite place on the downs today, and saw 3 clouded yellows (Colias croceus) butterflies before I had even got out of my car!!
This year is just madness! I don't think I have ever seen so many butterflies!!!
I could have blipped a beautiful male Brimstone, or my achilles heel the Small heath, or the underside of a beautiful Brown argus.... but in the end I chose this shot because it really shows off the velvety depth of the beautiful yellow colour of these butterflies.
I hope you will indulge me, I will try to find something new tomorrow
