So green...

We've had so much rain over the last week (and previously) that the ponds at Bennett Park are now full. Today I noticed just how much lush, long green grass is growing next to, or maybe even in the pond! I did not investigate any further because we sometimes see an alligator swimming on the surface there. Typical for marshy areas in Florida. 

Not to worry, we stay up on the path and far away from the pond just in case. I'm always watching too. None the less, it is nice to see everything so green. We had drought conditions not too long ago.
