Under my (new) umbrella

Had a great sleep last night, and then a pretty restful day. I'd brought some of the DVDs with me that I'd cleared out at home and thought Mum might like - we sorted through those, and then all the DVDs and videos she had on her shelves, and had a clearout there as well. In the afternoon, we watched History Boys. Entertaining, but I found it very strange and morally questionable (a frankly paedophilic teacher who is seemingly excused by the pupils he tries to touch up, and by the film in general. Erm...?) We added it to the clearout pile after watching it.

Very rainy day, on and off. I cooked a salmon stir fry for dinner, and realised at the last moment that we didn't have any rice, so I nipped out to Budgens to buy some, and got to use my lovely new umbrella that Tim bought me for my birthday :)

Had really bad stomach cramps in the evening. Must've been something I'd eaten during the day (not the salmon stir fry - Mum was fine), but not sure what. Painful!
