It was sunny as we left our part of the county. Half an hour down the road it started showering.
Mad as we are we went in anyway. We’d opted for summer wetsuits today.
It rained hard, we laughed and tried not to swallow any lake water as the waves nearly got the better of us.
Post swim refreshments included rock cakes made by Caroline, crossaints from Liz, fruit from Clare and Madeline biscuits from me.
I gave everyone a joke tea towel. It was going to be a Christmas present from me with us wearing our Christmas hats from 2024. Unfortunately the quality was appalling and the colours were so bright we all looked like Oompa Loompas. We did laugh. See extra.
