Singing

Today was a Singing Day - the first time that our choir (the Cairn Chorus) gets to try out the music for our Christmas and New Year concerts. I was a little apprehensive as I’d heard that the songs were in seven different languages, but I need not have worried - they were beautiful and I’m sure we will learn all the words in time.

Apart from the music, today was good from a social point of view. We all brought food (this sourdough loaf was my contribution) and it was lovely to try dishes made by other people.

I went for a walk when I came home, as I’d been sitting for far too long. It’s been fairly windy here but bright and mostly dry.
