Napoleonic re-enactment

This weekend there has been a Napoleonic living history event and re-enactment of a battle between the British and French that took place near Paris after the defeat of the French at Waterloo in 1815.  The British troops won this battle too.

Whittington Castle was a good setting for the re-enactment and it was all very colourful and noisy with loud gunfire.
