Rose

A very easy ground cover rose,  "Flower Carpet Amber" which has been producing roses all summer and received virtually no attention at all. Quickly blipped on a warm, summery last day of August! I concentrated on batch cooking this morning, using many of the tomatoes with some courgettes, to make ratatouille, and the blackberries with apples, into a crumble. Delicious for breakfast...I know, mad ! Not feeling very fit though, so it was a big effort.  Somehow, I have developed a mighty sciatica pain in my hip and front of my thigh! It came from nowhere, yesterday afternoon and I can hardly walk. I guess I need to rest up until it settles, which is frustrating...I  certainly won't be going  anywhere tomorrow:((
