Quokka

We spent the day at Rottnest island. Lots of exploring and plenty of quokka to keep us amused. They really are cheeky wee marsupials, not at all scared of people. Sadly the quokka who live in the township have a drastically reduced lifespan compared to the ones living in the bush. The human food and germs are doing them no favours at all. 
If you ever visit Perth I thoroughly recommend the trip to Rottnest island.
