Cobweb

Out rambling today at Howe Ridding Wood and saw the first autumn cobwebs glistening with dew.
A most remarkable occurrence - watching a great spider wrapping a bumble bee in silk, the spider suddenly hurried off and the bee unrolled itself and flew away!
Did the bee sting the spider? Or did the spider suddenly think better of it?
A happy ending for the bee anyway!
