Spain #17, La Boca del Infierno

Off to the Hecho valley today for a circular walk. The first half was on a ledge that was actually an old Roman road high above the valley and the second half was along "la senda de los Ganchos" which means the "path of the hooks". This was understandably a lot more challenging but still great fun as we got to peer down on the river almost vertically.

The scenery was as ever beautiful but halfway round we found an abandoned building that had a gap in it that meant I was just able to sneak through the hole in the wall, obviously this was too good to resist. It used to be a sort of outdoors and camping centre for summer camps but this obviously stopped a while ago and it is slowly becoming more decrepit.
