Nauvo, Finland

Every year, a sandcastle competition is held in Nauvo in connection with the Ancient Bonfires Festival. The picture shows the Groke, and the figure is inspired by the fairy-tale characters from Tove Jansson’s Moomin books. The Groke did not make it to be exhibited in the New York museum.
