Stand

I’d been meaning to get to the ‘Here We Stand’ exhibition at Loading Bay for a while, so I planned an early trip into town to spend some time with it before heading up to the football.

The exhibition features a number of short films exploring peace, conflict and activism, created for Bradford 2025 by young people in Sarajevo, Derry and Bradford. There was lots of creative and thought provoking work. I would recommend it, but it closes this weekend. I expect the films will be available online in some form.

It seems a bit of a jump cut from that to the football, but such is my life.

Bradford City were entertaining Wimbledon in a League One fixture. It was an entertaining game, with Wimbledon twice taking the lead, but City came back for a 3-2 win to continue their positive start to the season.
