Tortoieshell Butterfly on Buddleja
Today I went for my eggs and wandered round to the pond to see the new ducklings. The garden had loads of butterflies especially on their white buddleja and of course I had no camera. The ducklings are sweet they sat together and swam together. They are about 3 months old both female. I wondered why the buddleja bush in next door's garden never had any butterflies as I have looked every day, so when I got home I wandered round again with camera and it was covered in peacock butterflies. Then I saw one tortoiseshell and followed it around the bush which is large. There was quite a strong breeze so it wasn't easy to get a clear shot. Blipping certainly has it's problems. Thank you everyone for your lovely comments yesterday.
