Such fun

I spent the day with two of my granddaughters today. The youngest has a birthday this weekend so I took the opportunity to get to see them while I was just an hour or so away by train. They met me at the station and we went for an all you can eat hotel style breakfast. They had been before and the girls love that they can have pancakes, muffins, fruit, yoghurt and much more for their breakfast and can choose and fetch it themselves as often/as much as they want. A birthday treat for Noelle. Us bigger people had the cooked first, followed by other treats. 
We went to their home after where we had fun playing card games and board games until it was time to leave. 
Ainsley, not the birthday girl, drew the picture in the photo, finishing it off before we started the games. I love it and asked her if I could take a photo. She says she will probably write a story based on it. She loves to write stories and has a whole notebook full. 
We had a lovely fun day doing quite simple things.
