Kempton Steam
This incredible triple engine (one of two) used to pump water to north London until 1980.
Steam, produced by burning coal (13 tons per day), enters the three cylinders at the top and drives the plungers below to pump the water.
They still fire up this engine for visitors - and the next dates will be 28 & 29 September - it's in the diary!
