Southern Wool Show

 A day out with my sister.

Trip to Newbury race course to attend the wool show.  Nit that I needed any wool (trying to get rid of some), but the project I have in mind needed some specific yarn.  This was my purchases - think I was very restrained.  My sister purchased one ball of wool - she’s busy knitting poppies.

We stopped for lunch there and then head on our way home, via a garden centre.  Stopped for tea and cake and my sister purchased some items for her fish tank,  Then home.  A lovely day out.

Film tonight - War of the Worlds (2025) on Prime - very technical.  “A computer analyst working for tge US government funds his daily life disrupted by an alien attack.  Accustomed to dealing with virtual threats, his struggles extends to secrets the government may be hiding”.  Probably a 4/10 from me.
